Each year, the CCA provides feedback on development applications in the community. Applications range from rezoning proposals to development permits to antenna permits. A full explanation of the types of development applications that receive public input can found in the following powerpoint presentation, provided by the District of Saanich Planning Department:

The CCA is committed to ensuring that neighbours of development applications are properly consulted. The CCA may report to Saanich Planning and Council and provide recommendations on proposals. To help work with residents, Saanich staff, and development proponents, the CCA uses the following working document as guidelines:
