Saanich’s Active Transportation Plan includes, in the long term, a bicycle network. The Neighbourhood Bikeways are meant to use streets with low traffic volumes and traffic speeds. Places where you might consider it safe to bike alongside motor vehicle users.
To this end, Saanich is looking for your input to help identify and prioritize streets and paths suitable for the purpose of Neighbourhood Bikeways.
