Those living in the neighbourhoods surrounding Camosun College’s Lansdowne Campus are aware of many of the transportation challenges present at the site. The College has prepared a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Plan for 2013-2016. The College is committed to reducing the amount of single-occupancy vehicle traffic commuting to Lansdowne Campus. With this commitment comes the challenge of deterring College visitors from parking on neighbouring residential streets. The 2013-16 TDM Plan outlines how the College hopes to balance the goals of reducing vehicular commuters and respecting its neighbouring community by supporting alternative transportation methods.
Lastly, those who commute between the College’s Lansdowne and Interurban campuses will be interested in the new Camosun Express shuttle bus, serving on a trial basis until March 31st! For more information, be sure to check out:
