The Bowker Creek blueprint. Is a 100 year action plan to restore the Bowker Creek watershed. If you live with in the CCA, you also live in the Bowker Creek watershed. The blueprint has been worked on by municipal staff from Saanich, Victoria & Oak-Bay for the last 10 + years. It is finally completed & will now be presented to council for endorsement.
The blueprint contains long & short term goals to turn Bowker Creek back into an asset, rather than a liability. The issues are pollution, (the creek is our storm sewer) & flooding due to impervious surfaces, (roads, roofs etc).
