On spring weekends there are a number of open houses for artists’ groups in Saanich. Artists present their work for sale and may demonstrate in their home studios or yards. Last year for the first time, a group was formed to cover the Mt. Tolmie and most of the Camosun areas, called the Mt. Tolmie Studio Tour.
There were 8 artists, including painters, a woodworker, and a photographer. This year we would like to have more members from the Camosun community for the 2012 event during the last weekend of May.
